It's time for another cycle of homegrown poetry - actually it's about time to have fun again!

Here is my humble contribution.

To the most solid thing on Earth

(Your dirty minds are unbelievable!)

Oh, my love, my beloved pillar,

You must have been set up by good Lar,

To stand there still, as solid as rock,

Neverminding I smell like a dock,

Fishy and greasy, dusty and rusty,

When my world is spinning so nasty.

You give me shelter, when I want to cry,

You give me support, when I want to lie,

You're there for me, whenever I choose you,

hugging you feels like a crap, as I feel too.

I have utmost respect for you, you are my ace …

Until we will urgently need you at fireplace.

Tamam, it`s my first time writing a poem, so don`t judge me too much

Erdi (Erdogan) is my hubby

and he will never be chubby!

He is training day and night

that`s why he is so might!

He use to be really bad

but now he dreams of being a dad!

He has a cousin who is jealous,

who thinks he is cute, but that`s ridiculous!

It's been a while so I'm a bit rusty.

The not so pretty blues

The reason why I’m so angry, may not be clear to you,

So I’ll give you all a little insight to what it means to be Cansu.

When I lookin the mirror, I don’t like what I see

My eyes are beady, my cheeks too meaty

Like chipmunks at the zoo.

The love of my life is Emir,

My imaginary cavalier

His gross, plucked eyebrows I don’t mind

Cause as they say well….

Love is blind.

The problem is he loves a griha. Her name is Feriha.

Liar ,Liar pants on fire

When I see you I spit fire.

How long will it take for you to forget her.

Emir, please forget Feriheeeer

I think I’ll go and text myself

Maybe squander my dad’s wealth

I know, I will send myself some flowers

What the heck, I’ll just take a shower.

My poem for Emir

EMIR... YOU SCUM

You treated me like a trash can

And you made fun of my dad the doorman

You had my mother clean your house

You so enjoyed making her as small as a mouse

Now you want to buy me with your money

But I would think twice about that honey

All you do is shout and scream

And push the girls to join Lovent’s team

You made me look like a fool

Now I’m with him and I’m cool

You made me believe your love was true

I was stupid to do all these things for you

I want you to suffer

I want you to cry

I want you to crawl

When you ask me why

And when you'll beg me to forgive you

I’ll just smile and then I’ll kick you!

Firdevs Hanim Sonata

My daughter, ungrateful girl, thinks that I am a witch

But I see how she looks at Behlul, she wants him. The little witch..

Wise people say, an apple won't fall far from the tree

I'm sure that she'll deny it, but personally I agree.

Bihter mommy knows everything, she can see it in your eyes

You're dancing in the fire and running on thin ice.

I do not think this story will end in a nice way

It's not very smart to play with men and in the end you'll pay..
